Dr. Giraldo graduated as a Surgeon from the Pontifical Bolivarian University in 1994 and was trained at the University of San Antonio (TX) for a year. Since 1995 he focused on Women’s Health for which he obtained his degree as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist from the University of Yale in 1999.
Since he began his higher education, his main topic of interest was human reproduction, and to delve into this area, he traveled to the US where he completed a subspecialty in Infertility and Gynecological Endoscopy at University of Yale.
By the year 2000 he joined Inser’s medical group, where he has played a very important role in the development of clinical programs of assisted reproduction, infertility treatments and the implementation of endoscopic surgery techniques. Dr. Giraldo has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Colombian Society of Fertility and Sterility.
Dr. Giraldo is currently a professor of the Reproductive Medicine subspecialty and the postgraduate course in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Antioquia, the CES University of Medellin and the Pontifical Bolivarian University and has been a speaker at multiple conferences in his field of specialty.
