Dr. Tamayo graduated as a General Physician from the San Martin University Foundation and a specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics from the University of Antioquia.
Part of his training was spent doing gynecology rotations at Grand Island Clinic in Nebraska. He continued his studies in reproductive medicine for two years, during which he carried out rotations in centers of high national and international recognition such as the IVI in Spain, the InSer Clinic and the University Research Centre (SIU) in Medellín, perfecting assisted reproduction techniques, minimally invasive surgery and research, obtaining the title of specialist in Human Reproduction and Assisted Reproduction techniques. This training and his experience allow him to provide integral management to couples with fertility problems.
He currently serves as a Specialist in Human Reproduction at Inser Medellin, in addition to teaching Reproductive Medicine in the specialty of Gynecology and Obstetrics at various universities in the Colombian city.
